The Soul-to-Soul Book Study is a guided, healing-centered reading journey featuring powerful books by Black and Indigenous women authors whose work speaks to healing, spirituality, resistance, ritual, social justice, and collective transformation. Each selected book is supported by an accompanying study guide designed to help you read in a more reflective and embodied way, with journaling prompts, integration questions, and reading practices that deepen insight and personal meaning. New titles are introduced every other month, giving you spacious time to read and reflect. After each book is completed, we gather for two live, facilitated book study circle sessions held bi-weekly to explore key themes and shared insights together. Â

About Dr. Kimberly J.
Dr. Kimberly J. is a spiritual scholar, author, educator, and healing practitioner dedicated to helping Black women heal the effects of intergenerational trauma through ancestral wisdom, ritual, and embodied spiritual practice. She is the founder of Soul-II-Soul Healing Institute. A former corporate executive with an MBA in Finance, she now holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Religion with a focus on Women’s Spirituality. Dr. Kimberly J. has presented her research at Harvard Divinity, the Parliament of the World’s Religions, and the Association of Black Psychologists. Her writing blends scholarship, memoir, and sacred practice to empower personal and collective transformation.
