Discover Your Divinity

This journey is for you

This intensive is for the Black woman who has already begun her sacred healing and spiritual journey and knows there is something more.

She has done some personal healing work, yet she longs to go deeper. She is searching for spaces that honor Black women's histories, spiritual lineages, and wisdom traditions beyond narratives of enslavement and survival. She senses that there is a deeper story waiting to be remembered — one that reconnects her to land, lineage, spirit, and the sacred gifts she carries within.

She is ready to go deeper into:
  • Her ancestral histories and spiritual lineages
  • The sacred wisdom traditions of Black women
  • Her own divinity and innate medicine
  • Healing at the root — not just the surface
  • A sacred community of women answering the call alongside her

If you have been drawn to this space, trust that something within you is calling you deeper. Trust what brought you here.

A sacred invitation to remember

This six-week journey begins with the cosmological origins of Black women — the understanding of Black woman as creator, supreme deity, and Mother Consciousness.

From there, we explore the ways Black women's identities, spirits, and spiritual traditions have been fragmented and demonized through organized religion, colonization, enslavement, and the systems that continue to diminish Black women's divinity.

Ultimately, this journey leads us into the Great Return — a return to Mother Consciousness, embodied spiritual practices, sacred relationship with the land, and the reclamation of the divinity of Black women and Black womanhood.

This is a journey of remembrance, restoration, and resistance.

The great return

On the other side of this journey is a deeper knowing of who you are and the sacred purpose you have been called to fulfill. It is the understanding that generational pain and trauma can be transformed and that the wisdom of our ancestors continues to guide us.

What becomes possible is greater rest, restoration, reciprocity, and joy. A renewed reverence for our ancestors, a reclamation of Black women's divinity, and a return to the leadership, creativity, and sacred responsibilities that help restore balance within our families, communities, and the planet.

As Black women remember who we are, we remember the medicine we carry. We reclaim our power to create new visions for ourselves, for our communities, and for future generations.

Meet Dr. Kimberly J.

I embody the work that I teach. As a scholar, practitioner, and healer, I believe that healing and transformation must be lived, not simply theorized.

As a scholar of religion and Women's Spirituality, I spent years searching for Black women within religious texts, spiritual traditions, and academic spaces. Even in places dedicated to women's spirituality, I often encountered the erasure of Black women's histories, divinities, and wisdom traditions.

This program was born from that search. I created the space I longed for — a space where Black women can explore their histories, honor their ancestors, reclaim their sacred stories, and remember the divinity that has always lived within them.
It is an honor to hold this space, and I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey of remembrance.

"This course is life-changing because there is no other place you can go to hear your story. You really championed the course in a way that allowed me to feel seen, visible, and like education and knowledge was inclusive of who I am."

— Dionne

"This course explores Black womanhood, divinity, spirituality, history, and the sacred feminine through both academic and reflective lenses. It deepened my confidence, expanded my perspective, and helped me feel more connected to myself, my lineage, and the intellectual foundations behind ideas I had previously only explored spiritually."

— Stacey F.

"Every Wednesday, no matter what happened, I would be in traffic and I would still log in because I did not want to miss one minute. When you log off, you're just sitting there because your whole understanding of your place in this world has changed."

— Keshia W.

"This is not simply a program. It is a Great Return to the divinity of the Black woman and Black womanhood."

— Dr. Kimberly J.
